Contact Us

At Copper Mountain Elixirs we operate a little differently than most businesses. As of right now just two people are responsible for every aspect of this business, and because of this we sometimes have difficulty answering questions in what might be considered a timely manner. As you might imagine the process of extracting, testing, bottling, labeling and shipping product is pretty time consuming, so having to answer 25-30 customer questions per day on top of that means we are going to drop the ball somewhere. It’s bound to happen, it’s just simple math.

Our solution to this quagmire, at least until we are able to find trusted staff to hire, is to try to answer as many questions in advance online as possible. We want to provide you with both an outstanding product AND exemplary customer service, so please help us help you by reading through these common questions and answers. If your questions are not answered here then please feel free to reach out and we will be happy to help you.

How do I register with Copper Mountain Elixirs?

Please complete the short form on this page and we will verify your information and grant you access to the store as soon as possible. As we said before, we sometimes fall behind so please give us at least 24 hours to process your request.

What Should I Order?

Low THC Oil For Pediatric Patients
Most pediatric patients dealing with epilepsy and seizures see good results using ACDC Coconut Oil Tincture 12:1 ratio because it is very high in CBD and low in THC. Recent research has shown that Autism often requires more THC than the 12:1 ratio provides, so parents of autistic children might want to consider starting with the 5% 1:1 ratio coconut oil tincture.

Low THC Oil For Adults
Adults dealing with severe chronic pain, Crohn’s/IBS, cancer, Parkinson’s, and ALS may need higher ratios of THC to achieve relief. Generally for these patients we recommend starting out with the 5% coconut oil tincture. These patients may also need something to help with breakthrough symptoms, which the pre-filled vaporizer cartridges are very good for.

How Much Should I Take?

Dosing for Pediatric Patients
The recommended dosage for children will usually vary depending on their age. Children under 7 should generally start out with 2-3 drops under the tongue (if possible) or mixed in with a drink or food such as oatmeal. Older children can start out in the 5-10 drop range. Give your child’s body time to adjust to the new medicine, especially when dealing with intractable seizures.

Typically you would give your child their “starter dose” for 3 or 4 days and just evaluate their body’s response to the new medication, and then begin titrating up slowly by 2-3 drops per-dose per day if you have’t noticed improvement. When you ado notice improvement stop raising the dose. If you feel like you’ve given your child too much oil it’s ok, don’t panic. There is nothing in there that is going to cause any permanent damage. It can’t be overstated that, since humans began recording history, there has never been a single death reported as a direct result of consuming cannabis.

Dosing for Adults
With our coconut oil and organic alcohol tinctures we recommend most adults start with around 10 drops 2-3 times a day. As with the instructions for pediatric patients, go low and slow. Start under where you think you will need to be and work up to it. You may see instant relief, but a lot of times it takes time for the cannabinoids to begin  working on the body and repairing years of damage.

How Will It Get To Me?
All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. Orders shipped with our “Free Shipping” option ship First Class mail. Patients who need their order a little quicker can upgrade to Priority Mail for $7.
Where Do I Find A Doctor?
Most of our patients are from Georgia, so that’s the state we know the most about. If you are looking for a doctor in Georgia that can help you obtain certification or get re-certified please see the Physician Directory on GeorgiaCannabis.org. SouthernCannabis.org also has a directory that includes doctors from several states in the south (mostly Florida). You can find that page here. The directory at MedicalMarijuanaDoctors.com is also a good source.
